Yamaha's fully hand-carved violins finished with rich oil varnish & ebony fittings are set up with Yamaha's VNP1 violin pickup for clean, clear, exceptional tone. The VNP1 pickup is a dual-sensor grounded bridge pickup embedded in an AubertTM bridge, connected to a unique, single-barrel side-mounted jack. The VNP1 is the only pickup system of its kind to provide a fully grounded circuit, almost completely eliminating outside noise and interference. The single barrel minimizes interference with the violinist's shoulder rest.
